* ego between Colleagues
i always hate my superior indian colleagues @ my office.
thats because they have a feeling that they are some kinda mighty power once they complete 2 years of service. They join the company as innocent human beings, but later on turn out to stab some one from behind. They even act superior and intelligent and they start commanding & taking over everyone. They never take anyone's word and consider themselves 'All Mighty'. They always boast about their strong relationship/connections with the bigger bosses
I remember what my dad's big boss (Mr.Alghanim) once told him :-
According to Mr.A, he feels an organization/company is like an Army
All staffs are its soldiers.
and all Soldiers are catagorized as
Front Soldiers (such as Managers, Engineers...etc)
Backward Soldiers (such as Supervisors, Secretaries, Clerks, Accountants, Sales Staff, ....etc)
The front soldiers might be the performers and might achieve the targets but they are never complete unless they have the proper support from the backward soldiers. I am saying this becz i work in my organization as a Backward soldier and long back i have had a tough time with an Engineer. Thank God he equit his job and went away.......becz its always survival of the fittest and i'm not gonna give up so easily......you hurt me & i'm gonna kick ur butt !
i'm writing this becz today i saw one of our young Engineer(working here for 2 years) rulling over our secretary (she's been working here for 15 years). His words were rude and i came to know abt this when i saw her sad. I wish she could fight back like i always do........Dont mess with me becz i got nothing to lose!
This post of today is for all the superior bosses who read my blog to know that if we (backward soldiers) wish, we can get you on ur knees.........so just back off! You big guys will have a day when ur bigger boss is gonna make u pee!

Why we hate working for Indian bosses?........
There are a host of reasons why many professionals like to work for western bosses instead of Indian ones. Some of the reasons are perception based and some of the reasons definitely have some truth in them. Indian bosses tend to loose out big time when it comes to comparison of work style and work place culture followed by their western counterparts.Here are some reasons which are apparent in work places when the two are compared: Indian bosses like to monitor progress minute by minute. This may be because they lack confidence on the person executing the work. For an employee; it can be quite frustrating to have someone looking over your shoulder every minute. Little do Indian bosses realize that this reduces productivity by a large extent and can be discouraging for employees. Apart from that, constant hand holding or supervision also does not create thinkers or leaders. Western bosses on the other hand, give ample room and freedom for the person to perform and even make errors. It is from these errors that they expect the person to learn valuable lessons. This significant difference seems to come from the difference in cultures and is very noticeable in the work space. Western bosses tend to praise employees regularly whereas Indian chiefs are often miserly in their encouraging words. Somewhere there is concern that if you praise an employee too much, he might expect an increase in his pay package or get over-confident. Maybe there is little or no truth in this statement, but westerners are usually open about their praise irrespective of the status you belong to within the company. Apart from that, Western bosses tend to give credit where due. If a sub-ordinate has done a good job, the Western boss will give credit to him or her in front of the team and in front of senior management whereas the Indian counterpart might end up hogging all the limelight in this borrowed glory. An American or European boss has most likely seen a higher standard of working habits and will try and get that in his team. An Indian boss may not be familiar with a higher standard to make it common place in his environment. Setting standard by example is also something which westerners are more familiar with. Westerns do not resolve to emotional leadership, rather their responses are usually based on facts. Indian bosses tend to get far more emotional in the work space and sometimes may not react very rationally. An emotional boss is good for motivating and getting his team to perform, but display of too many emotions at the work place can result in mixed reaction from employees. Westerners are used to following all instructions in the booklet whereas Indian bosses tend to bend the rules to suit their requirements. This sets a poor example in front of the employees and also encourages them to be disorderly in circumstances. As employees, you are never sure of which way you are going with the boss! Indian bosses also tend to play favorites in the work space and promote an employee as they think fit. Western bosses tend not to play favorites or at least portray the impression that they don’t and that is another reason why employees would prefer working with them rather than their Indian counterparts. There might be still a number of reasons why Western bosses are better than Indian ones but there is no denying the fact that Westerners are preferred over Indian bosses and it will be a long time before that can be changed.
